Our Volunteers

The Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire is a large scale non-for-profit event benefiting the Lake County Education Foundation requiring administrative and support staff, set construction, ticketing, food services, production support, and so many others!

Each year we look to fill over a hundred and fifty spots with enthusiastic individuals just like you who are interested in the renaissance faire, supporting their community and educators, or both! With so many roles available, please consider being a part of the this amazing event and joining in the fun!

Operations

  • Stage Crew: The stage crew support the show behind the scenes to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They report to the Operation Manager and Entertainment Director.

  • Ticketing and Gate: Welcome attendees to the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire. Hand them a program. You may be asked to survey patrons as they enter to obtain demographic information.

  • Research: Collect point of origin information from patrons through surveys.

  • Games: You will assist our vendors who are providing the faire games. They will offer instruction upon your arrival.

  • Food and Beverage: Volunteers will be responsible for serving pre-mixed lemonade and bottled water to patrons. Involves handling money, making change.

Special Events & Pubs (+18 and older)

  • Pub Wenches and Drunk Monks: Help draw attention to Lord Edward’s Pub, The Drunk Monk and sells tickets to the Pub Crawl. All wenches and monks will attend tip training.

  • Special Events Crew: Will be helping with set up & breakdown of reception area, serving food and alcohol and assisting the wedding coordinator as needed.
