SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
All proceeds from the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire benefit the Education Foundation of Lake County, Florida, a 501(3)(c) organization. We are grateful for the various sponsors who help make this event a success. We offer multiple ways for you to contribute - whether it's with a monetary donation or helping fulfill a physical need, this faire would not be possible without contributions from our sponsors like you! If you're interested in monetary donations, or providing materials, food, or other items needed, please contact johnsone10@lake.k12.fl.us to start the donation process.
Our Marketing Efforts
The Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire media channels include newspaper (online & print), TV and radio, our website and social media outlets: Facebook and Instagram. Our Foundation website and social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) will also highlight our sponsors throughout the faire.
Our Impact
Last year, over the course of two weekends, a record-breaking 30,000+ patrons attended the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire. More than 1/2 of our patrons visited from outside Lake County. This event has a 4.8 million million dollar economic impact on our county and serves as the largest fundraiser for the Lake County Public Schools. Attendance is expected to grow again this year!
Patrons enter the gates of our enchanted forest each year and are entertained by 9 non-stop stages featuring fire eaters, period comedians, Celtic music and combat jousting. The lanes are filled with pirates, mermaids, unicorns and faeries. The Society for Creative Anachronism sets up a historically accurate working village where students learn the trades and tools of 17th Century England.
Each year we audition and select 140 drama students in our high schools to become part of the interactive cast. They work for 2 months developing their character and learning about the era. In addition we have the culinary students from 5 high schools cook and serve every French fry and every turkey leg. Last year they cooked $140,000.00 worth of faire food.
All proceeds from the faire are invested into Lake County Schools. Last year the board selected 2 impact projects. We funded a Teacher retention and recruitment program that resulted in 22 college students receiving paid internships and scholarships and 20 of those teachers are now employed in Lake County Schools. We also funded three start up VPK programs in Eustis, Tavares and Clermont..
